Good Opportunity will be Blooming Soon, as there will be opening of 50 new Kendriya Vidyalaya by 2019-20. The best thing is that this decision has been approved by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Well, this initiative has been taken in order to provide quality education to the children and to meet their basic educational needs.
There will be 50 new KVS across the country which will impart education to more than 50,000 students. Due to the high demand for quality education and efficient results, the new Kendriya Vidyalaya will be set up for addressing the educational requirements of eligible aspirants.
About New KVS
New KVS will be opened from classes I to V in and for each school 650 regular posts will be created. However, there will be continuous growth and improvement of the schools every year with the addition of one higher class and when the school grows up to class XII and becomes a fully fledged school with two sections in each class, there shall be a requirement of about 4000 regular posts of teaching as well as non teaching position.
The newly set up Kendriya Vidyalayas will meet the needs of students will good quality standards. The main objective of KVS is to cater to the educational needs of children of transferable Central Government employees. Currently, there are 1142 functional Kendriya Vidyalayas under the KVS in India and abroad serving effectively.
Opening Of 50 KVS In Upcoming Years
When it comes to appropriate infrastructure, teaching resources, academic performances, KVS are considered as model schools. With excellence in academic qualification and performance in the student’s results, the Kendriya Vidyalayas have proved it excellent.
The main motive of KVS is to make sure that children of ex-servicemen or government employees do not have to face any issue while transfer from one place to other.

For implementing the new 50 KVS project a large investment has been made for Rs 11, 60 crores. For setting up new Kendriya Vidyalayas, at least 4 acres of land is needed in a particular city.
